TIPS AND TRICKS
We hope you find our Tips and Tricks area educational, helpful
and a little entertaining. We keep it updated and loaded with
as much info as we can find and fill, and if you have any tips
or tricks of your own please feel free to drop us a line or visit
our message board where you can post as much as you like and
communicate with other webmasters as well.
- There is a weekly email newsletter put out by Andy Dunn
called Sexswap, it is always full of new ideas and tips, which
I highly recommend visiting. You can visit the site at trix.sexswap.com
for more info.
- Be sure to visit pornresource.com, it is a must
see site, run by Boss Hawg and his team. It's an excellent
source of
infomation for adult webmasters and is very entertaining
as well.
- I also suggest you try and keep away from the major
adult webmaster boards as much as possible. The boards are
a
great source of information to read atleast once a day
and are
very informative in the latest happenings within the
industry. However, it is very easy to get yourself caught up
in them,
and before you know it the day is entirely gone. One
great board for both newbies and seasoned pros is Toms newbie
board, it has lots of new ideas and information highly
geared
for
helping webmasters.
- Remember, 'QUALITY' traffic is what
your looking for. In most cases the traffic is not that good
with tgp sites
unless your a seasoned webmaster and know how to convert
and filter the traffic properly. If you want to play
the tgp game I would suggest you check out tgp2, the traffic
there is much easier to convert into members.
- Don't rely
on the search engines to find YOU. Always submit your site
to the major search engines. Also,
don't fall for the 'submit your site to 600 search engines'
game,
because 99.99999% of your traffic will come from
the top 5 search engines anyway. Most of the 'submit your site
to
600 search engines' only wants your money or your email
address.
- Always try and use softcore photos on your sites to
start out with. Remember, you want to get the surfer hard
and his appetite wet, not loose his load on your site before
he gets
his wallet out. Just keep in mind you want him
to PAY for the hardcore, if you give it to him for free, whats
he then
going to PAY for? Hopefully all your hits will
be
clicks and all your clicks will be $$$.
- 'Banners verses
text links', banners are great and much needed, but text
links I find convert much better.
Text links allow you to better target and presell the surfer.
I would
suggest you try and find the right mixture for your site.
- Blind
links are great for sponsors, but bad for the webmaster.
Your chances of converting a blind link are not
good. It is always best to tell the surfer where they are
going. A
good semi blind link would be '10,000 vintage
hardcore pictures', linked to vintagepics.com. Atleast
the surfer knows he is
going to a vintage site.
